«A TANGLE OF PROBLEMS»: POLITICAL, INSTITUTIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE CONSEQUENCS OF INDUSTRIAL DISASTER
Main Article Content
Abstract
On July 10th, 1976, in Seveso happened a huge environmental and industrial disaster, that hit institutions hard in a delicate moment of Italian history. Some issues such as abortion to prevent severe birth defects and reclamation of the damaged area threatened the thin political agreement at both national and regional level. The Seveso disaster has been both a first step in building a green consciousness in Italy and a sign of the political dynamics of that period.
