eCO2PLANT, A SUCCESSFUL CASE OF SUSTAINABLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP AT SCHOOL

Abstract
eCO2Plant is a sustainable domestic plant for aquarium maintenance that produces CO2 from food waste biochemical reactions. This article describes the entire process of design, prototyping, and production of a system based on food waste recovery that does not use electricity or any other type of fossil fuel. eCO2Plant has been awarded as “Most innovative technology” among 47 start-up in the “Green Jobs” competition. It represents a peculiar example of an environmental start-up created by students of high school.
